On the road to reshaping travel in Northern India, Noida International Airport is wasting no time adding new partnerships to its roster. After Uber and Rapido, NIA joins forces with redBus.

Travelers flying through Noida International Airport will soon have an easier way to continue their journey. The airport has announced a strategic partnership with redBus, the world's largest online bus ticketing platform, to give passengers direct access to intercity bus services from the terminal.
This first-of-its-kind collaboration between an airport and a bus mobility platform aims to strengthen last-mile connectivity options for travelers.
This partnership made it possible for more than 20 direct intercity bus connections from NIA to key destinations across North India, including Agra, Mathura, Lucknow, Dehradun and Chandigarh. The redBus platform gives travelers the opportunity to book their seats directly on high-quality, air-conditioned buses run by some of the country's leading bus service providers.
redBus will also bring a very useful range of services to the table, like giving travelers real-time GPS tracking and digital ticketing right at their fingertips, and a particularly handy feature for all travelers, round-the-clock customer support. This will give passengers peace of mind from the moment they step off their flight.
Convenience, though, goes beyond just booking a seat. It's also about what happens the moment travelers land.
To make transfers as smooth as possible, NIA has created a dedicated bus staging area right at the terminal, giving passengers a clearly defined space to board and de-board. On-ground staff will also be on hand to guide travelers every step of the way.
This redBus partnership is just one piece of NIA's larger strategy to become a true multimodal transport hub. Beyond bus connectivity, the airport is also working closely with government authorities and other key stakeholders to improve road access for private vehicles and expand public transport options. The goal is to create an integrated ecosystem where passengers can choose the travel option that works best for them.
The new partnership makes it easier to continue your journey after landing, but many of its benefits depend on having internet access once you leave the terminal. Features such as digital bus tickets, live GPS tracking, route updates, and customer support all work best when you have a reliable mobile connection.
Noida International Airport is already working to improve connectivity on-site. Earlier this year, technology company ACES India and state-owned operator BSNL signed an agreement to deploy advanced telecom infrastructure across the airport, helping passengers stay connected while they are at the terminal.
The bigger challenge for many international travelers begins after they leave the airport. Public WiFi is not always available during onward travel, and relying on roaming can become expensive. For travelers planning to use services such as redBus, ride-hailing apps, digital maps, or mobile payments, having mobile data available from the moment they arrive can make the journey significantly smoother.
One option is to set up an eSIM before departure, allowing you to access transport apps, navigation, and booking confirmations as soon as you land in India.
